Angel Tomov (1912 – 1993), “Mound”

Tomov, Angel Georgiev (1912 – 1993). Angel Tomov was born in 1912 in the village of Galabovo, Plovdiv region. He is from the golden generation of Plovdiv artists who saturated the art space with their remarkable works, with their craftsmanship and specific styles, recognizable from the first look. And this is no accident – he is one of the elite students of Prof. Dechko Uzunov at the National Art Academy in Sofia. Member of the SBH and the Society of Plovdiv Artists, of which he is the secretary and active organizer of general exhibitions in the city and in Sofia.
