Hristo Dochev (1933-2007), “Landscape”, ca. 1991

DOCHEV, Hristo Tsankov Dochev (30.VIII.1933 – 25.XII.2007). Born in the village of Kitanchevo, Razgradsko. He graduated from the Teacher’s Institute in Shumen, later VTU “St. Cyril and Methodius” under N. Kozhuharov, V. Stoilov, M. Kats. He works in HG-Targovishte, in the city of Razgrad. In Shumen, he teaches at the Teacher’s Institute, and works at the District Council for Culture. Participates in national and regional art exhibitions. Member of the Group of Shumen artists. Author of two books: “Nutrition and Health” and “Path to Perfection”, with five editions each. Works in Dimitrovgrad.
