Biographical data about the author

Orphan Wanderer (Panayot Hristov Todorov). Born in Sliven on October 22, 1883, in the family of Todor Hristov and Radka Gyulemezova. 1898-1903 – He attended the Theological School in Sofia. In 1905-1908, his poems and vignettes were published in “Khudozhnik” magazine. 1908-1912 – Studied in Petersburg, attended Elizaveta Zvantseva’s private school. He published the collection of poems “Confessions”, collaborated with “Libra” magazine and “Zlatorog” magazine. From 1922 – Member of the “Native Art” society, later its chairman (1927, 1929-1931). In 1933, 1935 he held solo exhibitions in the Permanent Gallery at 16 Aksakov St. Head of Radio Sofia from 1935 to 1943. In 1943, March 4 – Died in Sofia
