Biographical data about the author

Boris Todorov NENOV was born on October 15, 1921 in the village of Staropatitsa, Vidinsko. Graduated (1954) Painting at the Art Academy, Sofia, under Prof. Dechko Uzunov. Boris Nenov’s landscapes are the most exciting part of his work. They directly affect our senses through their sonorous tonal harmony. He held several solo exhibitions in Budapest (1972), Berlin (1980), Sofia (1966, 1972 and 1980). After 1957, he participated regularly in OHI and in the presentations of Bulgarian art abroad. He creates still lifes based on the fashionable neo-constructivism of the time, but with additional Balkan warmth.
