Bronka Gyurova – Alsheh (1910 – 1995) Born on January 1, 1910 in the city of Shumen. She graduated from the Varna Girls’ High School. In 1932 he graduated from the Art Academy in Sofia. During three years of teaching in Sofia and the village of Slatina. In 1937, she went to Belgium, where she attended an illustration course for a year. In 1947, she married the artist Eliezer Alsheh. In the 1950s, they were declared formalist artists, i.e. artists whose art does not meet the demands of communist ideology. In 1951, together with her husband, she emigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
