Biographical data about the author

Paneva, Elena Kotseva. Elena Paneva was born on September 30, 1917 in Popovo. In 1940 He graduated from the painting specialty at the Art Academy in Sofia under Prof. N. Ganushev. She worked in the field of figurative composition, portraiture, landscape and nude body. In 1950 he created many portraits. With excitement and a rich painterly feeling, he develops household themes. Rural themed compositions are in most cases organically connected with the natural landscape. He died on March 29, 1987 in Sofia.
