Margarita Deneva (1931), “Under the Rays”, 1981

Margarita Deneva was born in 1931. She graduated from the Art Academy in Sofia. Lives and works in Varna. She is the wife of the artist Hristo Vekov. Margarita Deneva is an academic artist. Her preferred technique is monotype – monochrome and polychrome. Her work includes figurative compositions, portraits, landscapes, still lifes, nudes. Today, there are 13 solo exhibitions and numerous participations in national and international presentations of the SBH – Varna group.
